Hydraquip Invests in Providing Technical Education for Clients

This month, Hydraquip hosted its first Technical Seminars in their Grand Prairie, TX and Tulsa, OK locations. These one-day technical seminars were held in partnership with Hydraquip manufacturer partners, Danfoss, Wandfluh of America and Schroeder Industries. Hydraquip was pleased to achieve great attendance from key clients relying on Hydraquip for their technical expertise in hydraulic, hybrid electrohydraulic and fully electric systems.

Danfoss shared information about latest updates in their fluid conveyance technology. This included intelligent lay lines with added information for simplicity of maintenance in the field, a new high-pressure hose offering and identifying additional resources for fluid conveyance with the addition of legacy Eaton products to the Danfoss fluid power group.

Danfoss also highlighted their newest hydraulic pump technology, the Danfoss digital displacement pump (DDP) line. The DDP is the first digitally controlled hydraulic pump; it activates each piston individually making the displacement electronically variable for fast, accurate flow control. The DDP pump allows OEMs to product equipment with lower total cost of ownership (energy efficiency), reduce cycle times and limit emissions and high frequency noise.

Wandfluh of America educated attendees about proportional valve technology, including use of complete valve stacks for easy installation, explosion proof options and digital smart control options. Wandfluh highlighted their stringent testing procedures at their factory in Switzerland which include testing valves with realistic fluctuation in operation flows and pressures to develop valve technology with increased reliability and smooth volume adjustment and pressure curves.

Schroeder focused on its green technology including diesel fuel filtration solutions to improve engine operation for Tier IV requirements. They walked through the best practices of multi-step fuel filtration to ensure fuel entering the system is as clean as possible to protect the life of equipment. Schroeder’s new poly or plastic tank technology is also a gamechanger for reducing weight in mobile solutions, improving flow and decreasing aeration in the system which leads to better long-term system performance.

Hydraquip prioritizes investment in technical resources available for OEM clients as we want to be a true partner and help them to design equipment with optimal safety, performance, and efficiency. Thank you to our manufacturing partners for their involvement in these technical seminars and we look forward to additional seminars in the future.
